Gwyneth Paltrow admits she was a 'fool' for starting Goop

Catchup News learns today that Gwyneth Paltrow has said she was a "fool" when she started her lifestyle website Goop. "I was a fool," Paltrow revealed to Boomberg, "I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But I have to say, it’s been incredibly rewarding, and I learn so much every day.” Fools rush in Gwyneth. Do you think we’re revelling too much in the fact that Gwyneth Paltrow called herself a fool? Probably. In the interview, she said that she was uncomfortable with the idea of being used by other brands to flog their products, saying "I started questioning being hired as a face.” Pretty ironic statement coming from an actor, we’ve gotta say. Goop offers exercise and fashion advice, as well as tips on spirituality and relationships. It been criticised for featuring new-age hippie philosophies as well as for promoting items that the average person can’t afford, such as a 21-day detox for $425 (£283) or £1,000 jackets. And of course, there was the conscious uncoupling debacle, or was it unconscious dumpling - we’re not sure. More from Catchup News next after we attempt to make one of her vegan wheatgrass detox cleanse sticks.
