He has been given a warning after stealing a £5.50 throat spray from Sainsbury's. Dr Ryan Wood, an Oxford-educated Army veteran, blamed lack of sleep and 'stress' from his job at Ipswich Hospital and having a young family. He was stopped after pocketing the spray on a trip where he paid for £40 of goods in May, 2019. A Medical Practitioners Tribunal said the theft was 'perplexing', considering Dr Wood is 'well paid', and accepted the incident was a `one-off'.
