Iggy Azalea was asked on the red carpet about her breast implants by a ten-year-old boy
Catchup News was surprised to hear that a young boy has been asking questions about boobs. Well now that we’ve said it like that, it sounds pretty commonplace. But add in a red carpet, and Iggy Azalea, and it starts to sound a little strange. The red carpet is usually a highly media-trained, bland location where celebrities can expect to bat away relatively tame questions, and especially the red carpet at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards. Or so you would think. So when (kind of) rapper Iggy Azalea, days after revealing to Vogue she had undergone breast augmentation surgery, was quizzed by ten-year-old reporter Nicolas Bechtel she could have been forgiven by being taken aback by this question: “You talked about getting some work done. Why did you feel the need to be open and tell people?” Azalea replied “I didn’t think you’d be the one asking me this question. But just because I think it’s so common. And I knew so many people in my regular life that had done it and had a good experience and I never see any celebrities talk about it. Although I know 80 per cent of them have done it, too. And I wanted to kind of tell women that might be thinking about my experience and that it can not necessarily be a bad thing, that’s why I did it.” Sounds pretty simple to us. Let this kid be a lesson to all those reporters out there - ask a direct question and you’ll get a direct answer. More from Catchup News next.
