Olivia Newton-John takes to Twitter to quash ill-health rumours
Reports in the US media have claimed that Newton-John was 'clinging on to life' with only 'weeks left' to live. In September 2018 the star had told fans that she had been diagnosed with cancer again, for the third time. The tabloid site, that quoted unnamed sources, said that the actress was only hanging on to see her daughter get married this year.
Olivia Newton-John posted a video on her social media accounts to quash the rumours and set the record straight.
"I just want to say that the rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated" she continues "I've been doing great and I want to wish you all the happiest, healthiest 2019 that's possible and thank you all for your wonderful love and support for me and for my Olivia Newton-John cancer wellness centre in Melbourne, Australia."
In her video, well-known Australian actress Olivia Newton-John looks well and fabulous as always, spreading 2019 love to her fans and followers. Her family have also taken to their social media accounts to put the world right with her niece Tottie Goldsmith denying the claims on her personal Instagram account.
We wish Olivia Newton-John a happy, healthy and prosperous year in 2019!
